Cindi and Anthony’s “Hall at Fauntleroy” Wedding

Last weekend Cindi and Anthony tied the knot at The Hall At Fauntleroy. This spring, the weather has been challenging to say the least. Boy did we ever get lucky. The forecast was slated for rain and we managed to pull off the all of the photos and the ceremony before the downpour occurred. Family came in from all over the world. The bride’s family is Chinese and the groom’s family is from Guam, Palau and Chicago. Mixing the cultures with a tea ceremony before the wedding day began was important to Cindi and her family. The Lei’s represented the Pacific Island culture and were worn instead of having bouquets. Once at The Hall, Cindi changed from her traditional red dress into her white wedding dress. When Anthony saw her in the white dress, tears poured down his face. It was a beautiful moment for a stunning couple.

When I asked Cindi how they met she wrote:
Anthony & I met at work on the elevator in the summer 2006; we talked on the elevator for a bit, but we didn’t get to hang out since he traveled a lot for about a year.  We finally met again during a work holiday party in 2007 and started hanging out to get to know each other a bit more in February 2008.

They dated for a bit and Anthony wanted to know our status since my brother-in-laws kept introducing him as my boyfriend.  Cindi finally told him that his application was approved, he was a bit confused at first, but he finally figured out what I was talking about.  Hahahahaha! They we were official on May 7, 2008 and our love blossomed from there.

How he proposed:
After they bought their house in April 2010, they started talking about marriage and kids; he finally popped the question December 13, 2010.  Anthony told Cindi to check under our Christmas tree, so she did and he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him (he stumbled his words a bit) and I said yes. The rest is history and they got married on their 3 year anniversary.

  • AnonymousLoved the photos, my favorites were the whole gang on the swingsets in great poses, the adorable flower girls, them as a couple – but my fav was the close up portrait of her – quite stunning.
