Laura and Aaron met on Match.com on May 10, 2006. They had “Instant chemistry” and have been together ever since. Their first date was at the Alibi Room. Aaron proposed to Laura on their sailboat in the Sucia Islands in August of 2008 with his daughters…they had written a song, and sang to her under the beautiful night stars!! It was their version of the “Brady Bunch” song, only it was about all of them together. Laura says it was adorable!! Then Aaron proposed and said he knew Laura would say yes if the girls were there because she adores them!!
Laura and Aaron were married at the Blue Ribbon Cooking School on November 13, 2010. We fought the raindrops and managed to take a couple of outside portraits. We had a little help from the fabulous umbrella they purchased from Bella Umbrella. Aaron’s daughters were part of every aspect of the wedding. They walked Laura down the aisle and were an integral part of the ceremony. David Cooper was the officiant. Once the ceremony was complete, everyone danced down the aisle in celebration. A bagpiper, Neil Hubbard greeted everyone as they arrived as well as when the cocktail hour began. The food at Blue Ribbon is amazing and everyone was served a lovely family style dinner. Cake and flowers were done by Blue Ribbon Cooking School as well. Laura’s dress was purchased from Cynderellies Closet. The DJ was Nick Gilmore, otherwise known as DJ Nicfit.
