As a professional Seattle Bar Mitzvah photographer and Bat Mitzvah photographer, I recognize it’s a big moment in the life of a family when a child comes of age, and fully understanding Jewish culture is more than important – it is essential. I prepared for my own bat Mitzvah as a teen, and ultimately completed the ceremony in Israel at the age of 18. I know how much effort goes into becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and how much the family has invested in this day.
I have shot over 100 bar and bat mitzvahs over the past 27 years, making me a very experienced Seattle Bat Mitzvah photographer and Bar Mitzvah photographer of Jewish events in the Northwest. Because of my rapport and connection with many Rabbis as well as a familiarity with the synagogues in the region, I have become one of the most recommended photographers of Jewish celebrations. Understanding the essential details and nuances of each congregation and ritual is already taken care of, enabling me to focus on the unique essence of each Bar/Bat Mitzvah subject.
