Brian and Joe Marry at the Alexis Hotel

Joe and Brian met September 26th, 1996 in Denver. Joe was in town for a pharmacists convention and decided a trip to a downtown club would be a fun outing on that particular Saturday night. Brian was at the club and when he walked in their eyes met. Joe came over and said hello and from there they spent the night talking and becoming more acquainted.

They learned that they lived three hours apart and set a date to meet again for a CU football game in October. In the meantime they chatted on the phone every evening and felt well acquainted by the time they met up at the game. By 1997 their love had blossomed and they knew they had to make way to be together daily. After careful consideration, Brian moved to Wray, CO to be together. 18 years have past since that time and both Joe and Brian feel blessed to have had great support from their families.

Given the fact that marriage is not yet available in Colorado and since they both loved Seattle so much, it only made sense to make a trip out for their wedding.
