Kevin and Chris met in 2003 in Cincinnati, OH. Chris’ brother was marrying one of Kevin’s good friends from college. Both were groomsmen in the wedding, and met the day before the wedding. A romance started about a month later on February 8, 2003, a long-distance relationship followed, and Kevin moved to Seattle on December 31, 2003. The couple decided it was time to get married in 2013, and they chose a wedding date of February 8, 2014 to keep the same anniversary date as the beginning of their relationship. After looking at a few venues, it became clear that FareStart was the right place for them to celebrate based on the combination of a great space, great food and being able to support the mission of FareStart in helping people change their lives through entering the culinary field.
