Kari and Oliver got married on a Monday at the beautiful venue of RhythmWaters in Langley, Washington. Kari and Oliver met in 2010 when Oliver, a trained nurse, was asked to help during the days with Kari’s cousin, George who was sick with ALS. Though the two of them were interested in each other, they realized this was not the appropriate time for a relationship. After Kari’s cousin passed away in late November 2010, both Kari and Oliver attended a mutual friend’s New Years Eve party where they formally expressed their interest in one another. The following fall of 2011 Kari made the decision to move to be with Oliver in Bellingham, Washington. And in December of 2012, on the same night they celebrated cousin George’s life two years prior, Kari proposed to Oliver. Kari is a fellow photographer and I was honored to be a part of their day.
